Our Manifesto for Anomaly Conservatory and the Utah UFO Festival
Our vision as an organization is to challenge the assumption in our community and society on the view that mankind is alone in the universe and that we are the only intelligent civilization in the cosmos. We also believe in a possibility that we are being visited by intelligent life not from our own planet, Earth. We are a research foundation dedicated to changing the cultural landscape of our society through community engagement and to bring about an evolutionary change for the betterment of our own community and our neighbors. It is self-evident that we are not alone in the universe and therefore we need to work diligently to persuade the general population of this fact. We exist to educate people about full-disclosure and first-contact!
We see many different anomalous activities happening in the realm of science within the exploration of the cosmos and during the search for extraterrestrial life. We also believe that these beings may not be that much different than ourselves. We may not understand fully all the anomalous phenomena surrounding the research, neither do physical scientists, physicists, and astronomers but we will gather all of our data from the most solid cited sources. We will facilitate community events, seminars and gatherings dedicated to the research and to educating our general public. Our foundation takes a sociological and anthropological approach regarding the research methods used to interpreting both the qualitative and quantitative data that will be used.
- The truth that is self-evident is that we are not alone in the universe. We arrived at this conclusion because of a myriad of events such as the historical Roswell Incident, and many other anomalous historical events, along with a strong cultural interest in the subject matter from our community. We feel that this subject will have a huge impact on society and we wish to prepare and educate our community in preparation of this evolution.
- The change that we believe is possible is a major cultural shift as we move from a planetary political structure to an exopolitical reality associated with the cosmos and communicating through diplomacy with other intelligent civilizations. It may sound silly but wait until it is a reality; we are naturally inclined to doubt.
- We want our audience to embrace this with an open-mind and heart as we work through the secular and religious implications of such an existence so that they are better prepared to embrace them. We exist to create avenues that better prepare us for these new frontiers.
Preliminary Guest Speakers List
After a long work week in Fountain Hills, Arizona, I have returned to Cedar City, from the international UFO Congress and have managed to hammer a lot of great stuff out for the Utah UFO Fest. The list of individuals below have agreed to come to our festival and speak next August over a two day period. The speaking engagements will be a ticketed event and we will have more details on this soon. I will be adding pictures and biographies for every individual that plan to appear at the Utah UFO Festival. These individuals have appeared in the media, both in print and television. Many are established educators, researchers, and authors in the field of Ufology. This is just a sneak peak of what we have in store.

Live From Rachel, Nevada, Monday Morning at 7AM
We are headed out to Rachel, Nevada on Sunday afternoon near Area 51 & S4. We are going to be doing a radio show LIVE from Rachel, on Southern Utah’s KSUB 590 AM starting at 7AM Utah – Standard Mountain Time. Joseph, Nathan, Tim & Bryan will be out of calling range until Monday afternoon. So tune in tomorrow for a rare and unique show.
Kickstarter Project: The Great Southwestern Suzuki Adventure
The Cowlishaw Brothers from Cedar City, Utah, have launched their most ambitious Kickstarter yet to send Nathan Cowlishaw, a professional landscape photographer, on a 6090 day adventure from the seat of a compact 4×4 to photograph the most rural Americana that can be found in the Desert Southwest. This is happening in conjunction with a later event; the first annual Utah UFO Festival, being planned by Joseph and Nathan Cowlishaw for August 1922, 2015 in Cedar City, Utah. As part of the Kickstarter project, Nate Cowlishaw will be following a route that will traverse along 1,600 miles of the USMexican border and the journey will cover about 9,500 miles of open dirt roads, 4×4 trails, and paved highways. They need the public’s support in order to raise funds for the project.
Nathan Cowlishaw will be leaving midMarch after the Kickstarter campaign is able to reach its funding goal of $15,000 dollars to cover trip expenses and all of the rewards that are being offered to Kickstarter backers who financially support the project from a portfolio of professional images that will be captured from the trip. They will be apart of a special collection selected by Nate, who is also known as ’Talking Tree.’
Nate has been doing photography for over 15 years and was recently published in Southern Utah’s local Elan Magazine in the Spring 2014 edition. Many people from various communities around the desert Southwest follow his updates under the Instagram username; @Talking_Tree. The Little A’Le’Inn – Our Featured Vendor
We went and visited with Pat, Owner of the Little A’Le’Inn, out in Rachel, Nevada, located along one of America’s most famous and isolated routes known as Extraterrestrial Highway. The road stretches 150 miles between Caliente and Tonopah, Nevada, with hardly services except those found at the Little A’Le’Inn about half-way through the ardious stretch of open-range. At night, you have to be extra cautious when traveling as black cows will casually stroll into the road. After a long drive to get to Rachel, you can stop and order yourself a delicious world-famous Alien Burger. Not too far South from Rachel is America’s most secretive military base known as Area 51 and next-door is the most secretive S-4 facility that allegedly houses alien space-craft technology that has been reverse-engineered by scientists with above-top-secret security clearance. The famous Bob Lazar – was supposedly one of these engineers that spilled the beans on America’s most notorious base with the help of George Knapp.
Nobody knows what exactly is going on out at Area 51 or to how deep these technologies go? What I do know is that the Little A’Le’Inn is our featured vendor at the Utah UFO Fest as well as a sponsor. We are glad to have them on board with us as an integral part of our festival. Pat is helping us with all sorts of information and ideas of for our event. We plan on running a caravan out to Rachel on the opening day of the fest, and camping out near the A’Le’Inn with a large group of enthusiasts who love astro-photography, camping, outer-space, and the topic of Ufology.

Joe and Nathan Cowlishaw are headed to Rachel, Nevada to put a video together for an upcoming Kickstarter for an epic trip around the Desert Southwest. We also believe that we aren’t alone in the Universe! Please tag your images with #UtahUFOFest if you come across anything interesting! ;)
January Planning Meeting for UFO Fest
The Cowlishaw Brothers are hosting a planning meeting and will be serving premium pastries from Lin’s bakery on January 7th at the Cedar City Visitor Center and this flyer can be printed off to get all the details. The QR Code takes you to our event page on Facebook. We were busy passing out flyers to local businesses to promote the meeting. We have a committee networking group as well as a Facebook group dedicated to paranormal research in Southern Utah. Our official organization is called the Anomaly Conservatory which is behind the Utah UFO Festival. We realize that this phenomenon has a real impact on society from a sociological standpoint. We can build the public’s interest though community engagement and get people talking and telling their stories. Come join us for the planning meeting.
