Detailed Program for the 2017 Utah UFO Fest

Friday, June 16, 2017:

10:00-Noon: Setup Time

Noon-5:30: Open Mic Rally Format with Sputnik!

Sputnik is an ancient PA System from the 1960s; He is nice an loud and he is very reminiscent of the old days. He’s perfect for our open mic rally format. This is a chance for you to network with other fellow UFO enthusiasts and researches. Anyone is welcome to get on the mic during this session after being vetted. It is somewhat moderated by Nathan Arizona. For some attendees this is venue was a favorite of attendees last year which is why we are doing it again!

5:30-7:30: Break and Dinner and Alien Themed Music. Large outdoor movie screen arrives from Wayne County. Adam, our professional sound system and festival setup guy arrives to set up for the evening’s formal event.

7:30-8:30: Ron Regehr – Presents his stories and life experiences as an Aerospace Engineer and some of his deep research in Ufology including working in Mufon.

8:45-10:30 or 11: Clifford Mahooty of Zuni Pueblo and Christopher O’Brien (Investigative Journalist) will be collaborating on two presentation.

10:30 or 11-11:30: Ken Goldstein (AKA Jack Dempsey) who tours with Santana and is a UFO researcher and enthusiast will perform an amazing set of select alien themed songs to celebrate the UFO Phenomenon in pop culture.

Saturday, June 17, 2017:

8:00-10:30: Breakfast will be served during this time. To be announced!

10:30-4:00: Open Mic Rally Format with Sputnik. Same tradition as the day before but earlier.

4:30-6:30: Joe Buchman pHD and Libertarian chair for the Utah Libertarian Party will be hosting a Citizens Hearing on ET Disclosure featuring Erica Lukes (Communications Director for the International Association of UAP Researchers), Dave Rosenfeld (Utah UFO Hunters) and Ryan Burns (Ufologist & Skinwalker Ranch Researcher).

6:30-8:30: Dinner with Alien Themed Music

8:30-9:30: Nathan Arizona, Founder of the Utah UFO Fest will introduce two films about Bob Lazar, Scientist who worked at the top-secret S4 facility near Area 51 and was involved with working on reverse-engineered ET flying craft. One is a 45 minute film by Gene Huff starring Bob Lazar himself. We will show a second film titled; LAZAR: Cosmic Whistleblower by Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell in honor of Bob Lazar’s sacrifice to reveal to the world that we are not alone! There will also be a short introduction about Jeremy Corbell’s work!

9:30-10:30 Joe Montaldo from ICAR will present. He’s traveling clear from New Orleans to share his knowledge and insight about the ET Phenomenon. He also has a short film clip to present on the Alien/Human Hybrid Program.

10:30-11:30: The Navajo Rangers, also known as the Paranormal Rangers will present their evidence and case studies dealing with UFOs, Bigfoot and other phenomena.

*This schedule is due to change based on feedback and we are still working on developments. Rest assured that you will not miss any of the formal presentations as long as you are joining us in the evening after 5:30 PM!

FOOD: We have food at the fest. Pork Belly’s Eatery and Catering Co. will be our exclusive food provider for the Utah UFO Fest. They will be serving lunch and dinner on both the 16th and 17th.

Utah Citizens Hearing on ET Disclosure to Take Place June 17th

We have Joe Buchman hosting a Citizen’s Hearing on ET Disclosure in Cedar City, Utah at Three Peaks Recreation Area as one of several new developments happening at the festival. It will take place before the main keynote speaking engagements and film screenings on Saturday Evening. Specific time has yet to be announced. As you know the festival is grassroots so things are developing just days before the event! Joseph will be accompanied by Erica Lukes (Former State Director of Utah Mufon), Dave Rosenfeld (Utah UFO Hunters), and Ryan Burn’s (Utah UFO Researcher).

Joseph Buchman, Utah Third District, US House of Representatives

Dr. Joe Buchman is a life-long libertarian. He has served as the Libertarian Party’s national platform committee chair, as the Utah state party secretary and is currently serving on the national party’s Audit Committee.  Dr. Buchman holds a PhD in mass communications from Indiana University (1989), a Master’s of Science in finance from Purdue University (1983) and BS in marketing from Indiana University (1980).  He and his wife Cindy have four children.  Joe has taught in MBA programs in China and Mongolia. He was a key organizer of and moderator for the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure (Washington, DC 2013).  Following his service as a tenured professor of marketing at Utah Valley State College (now UVU), he served as a lead course designer and subject matter expert for the University of Chicago’s online MBA programs.  He is the author of several undergraduate and graduate-level college textbook chapters and has presented his research to meetings of the National Association of Broadcasters, American Psychological Association, Broadcast Education Association, TEDx, Popular Culture Association and the Society for Scientific Exploration. He retired from full-time teaching in 2014 and is active as a volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America (46 years), the Sundance Film Festival (12 years), an Introduction Leader for Landmark Worldwide (11 years), Burning Man Census Team (6 years), the Sonoma International Film Festival (3 years) and is currently serving as a volunteer in the Church Service Mission for the LDS Family History Library.

Just realize we are totally busy getting all the rest of the logistics wrapped up for the festival just three days away.

Ken Goldstein Coming to the Utah UFO Fest

Ken Goldstein (aka Jack Dempsey)

Did you know the artist behind the Jack Dempsey song titled, How You Like Me Now, was once a UFO, conspiracy and intuitive crime scene investigator? Ken Goldstein (aka recording artist Jack Dempsey of The LA Hustle) was hired to direct a film based on Richard Belzer’s best selling book, UFOs, JFK and ELVIS: Conspiracies You Don’t Have to Be Crazy to Believe after years of working as an investigator for FOX News, NBC, Tribune Media and A&E Television (he wrote and directed episodes of Investigative Reports with Bill Kurtis).

Ken is also a friend of the festival and we’re so stoked to share with you that he’s offered to come and perform a very special acoustic set on our main stage Friday night the 16th! He’ll be playing a few of his popular songs as well as a short set of alien and space themed classics! It’s happening right after the last speaker of the night on Friday…

Press Release – Cedar City, Utah – June 4, 2017

The Utah UFO Fest goes LIVE for it’s second annual event on June 16 and 17th at Three Peaks Recreation Area near Cedar City, Utah. We have received overwhelming attention from various media outlets and researchers about this year’s event with new developments in the pipeline since releasing our keynote speaker list and event posters and accompanying sponsor list.

CEDAR CITY, Utah. –  June 4, 2017 – As word gets out about the second annual Utah UFO Fest, we are getting overwhelmed with various media outlets reaching out along with new developments and venues being added to the fest since releasing our keynote speaker list, sponsor list, and event poster.

Tickets are required for the festival but are free to the public for general admission. We have separate ticketing for vendors which is free and any donations to help cover event costs are appreciated. The festival’s website is at UtahUFOFest.org and tickets can be obtained at Eventbrite at the following URL address: TinyURL.com/UtahAliens.

Event Speakers will present on a large outdoor movie screen beginning at sundown, much like a 4th-of-July fireworks display; the formal events take place in the evenings of June 16 and 17th at Three Peaks Recreation Area at the Large Pavilion. No seating is available so attendees are required to bring their own lawn chairs.

Some of the new developments include an appearance by Ken Goldstein from Los Angeles (also known under his stage names as Kene G and Jack Dempsey) who recently completed a music album with Capitol Records. Ken reached out to the Utah UFO Fest to help with the event. We are excited to have him on board! We also have other developments soon to be announced.

The Utah UFO Fest begins at Noon – with a moderated open mic that also doubles as networking opportunity for the public to interact with event speakers, researchers, and local authoritative voices on the UFO Phenomenon. The entire event is FREE to the public because the founders of the Utah UFO Fest wish to make this discussion as inclusive as possible and accessible to everyday American Citizens and members of the greater intergalactic community. Everyone and their cat-and-dog is welcome at the Utah UFO Fest. Please note that dogs must be on a leash at all times during the fest. We look forward to seeing you all!

Joe Montaldo – Director of ICAR to Join the UFO Fest

Joe Montaldo will be joining us at the festival and be presenting in conjunction with, Jim Allen and will showing a short film screening about Alien/Human Hybrids. We have added Joe to the speaker list and more information is to be announced soon.

Joe Montaldo is Co-Founder, International Director, and Spokesperson for I.C.A.R. the International Community for Alien Research. (www.icar1.com) Originally affiliated with MUFON as an Investigator, Mr. Montaldo became disenchanted with the lack of information being shared with the general public. His first step in furthering public awareness was establishing a personal website (www.alienenigma) in 1998. Later, the I.C.A.R. site (www.icar1.com) was added to the Internet.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1963, he attended area private schools before joining the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy, Joe earned three degrees in Advanced Electronics and Avionics after getting out of the navy Joe went on the get his bachelor’s degree in Advanced Electronics and Avionics. In April of 2002, Mr. Montaldo began hosting the Wake Up USA a UFO Study talk show. He is now host of the new radio program, UFO Undercover is an Internet talk show that allows the host and his guest to interact and answer questions with the virtual audience thru the Internet and by telephone via a toll free number.

During his time as host for these radio programs, Joe has interviewed most of ufology’s personalities. In the process he has gained many friends in the community as well as the opportunity to work to ward his goal of ufologist and the public sharing information openly. Having been an investigator for almost 30 years, Joe Montaldo is extremely knowledgeable on UFOs, Alien Abductions, Star Children, Indigo Children, Milabs, Government Involvement, and all matters involved in Ufology.

In an effort to go directly to the public, a chat room was opened on Pal Talk under Social Issues-ICAR UFO Alien Phenomena-Voice Room. This chat room provides a place for people to exchange ideas, share experiences and find personal help dealing with Alien Contact.

I.C.A.R., starting as a grassroots organization, is now established with members in 11 countries. While UFO sightings are always investigated, I.C.A.R.’s main focus is on Alien Abductions and the Alien Agenda. I.C.A.R. members and Joe have investigated over  5000 cases of Alien contact and abductions. In 2005, Montaldo and members of I.C.A.R. provided press coverage in Washington D.C. at the X-Conference as well as the last 2 crash retrieval conference and the 2006 Laughlin conference also in 2006 Mr Montaldo was placed on the board of the Exopolitics institute where he advises in alien abduction and media areas.

Mr. Montaldo has been featured in newspaper articles, radio talk shows and speaks at area meetings as well as hosting his Wednesday night talk show. “My future goal is to gain information for I.C.A.R. and share it with the Public. The public needs to understand what is going on with Alien Contact, and exactly what the Alien Agenda is.”

KSUB and the UT UFO Fest join forces with the Little A’Le’Inn

The organizers of the Utah UFO Fest are teaming up with Doctor T and Chris from KSUB and traveling the to remote ET outpost of Rachel, Nevada to meet up with Connie & Pat, owners of the Little A’Le’Inn near Area 51. We will be live on 590 AM KSUB on location early Tuesday morning at 7 AM.

Joining Forces with Chris O’Brien & Cliff Mahooty, is Ron Regehr!

Clifford Mahooty (Zuni) introduced Nate Arizona to Ron and it was a pleasure speaking to the man himself. We are honored to be adding him to our speakers list for the 2017 fest as he will be joining forces with Christopher O’brien and Clifford!

Biography of Ronald. Will be added to the Speaker List:


Ronald Regehr has been a UFO researcher for more than 50 years.  Regehr is a retired aerospace engineer with 36 years experience at Douglas Aircraft and Aerojet ElectroSystems working in space and Earth surveillance systems.  He is MUFON’s Director of Documentation and a MUFON research specialist in space satellite technology.  Two of his major areas of contribution in UFO research are satellite detection of UFOs and analysis of photos and other data associated with the Roswell case.

Aerospace Engineering
From 1962 to 1999 Regehr was an engineer with Douglas Aircraft (now Boeing) and Aerojet (now Northrop Grumman).  At Douglas he was part of the Saturn/Apollo design team responsible for the electrical interface between stages of the Apollo Moon rocket. Later he developed the requirements for the first US space station, Skylab, working closely with the astronauts, NASA headquarters, and Douglas designers.

At Aerojet, Regehr was part of the team that developed specifications for our nation’s top spy satellites, the Defense Support Program or DSP and Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS).  The team developed ground data-processing software and interfaces with other program elements.  During his career, he held various security clearances up to the level of top secret Q, and he was frequently called upon to assist government specialists in evaluation of classified programs.

UFO Research
Regehr first became interested in the UFO phenomena in the mid-1950s as a young volunteer for the Ground Observer Corps.  Through the years he continued reading everything available on UFOs, and in the mid-1980s he became seriously involved in UFO research when his knowledge of classified data indicated to him the US government was not telling the pubic the truth about UFOs.

In particular, based on technical details in the 1976 Iranian UFO case, Regehr became convinced that US spy satellites were detecting UFOs.  Between 1988 and 1994 he published a series of articles establishing that this was true, culminating in his April 1994 MUFON Journal article, “Do Spy Satellites See UFOs?”  Also in 1994, Regehr made the information available to a national audience as a guest participant in a documentary on the Iranian UFO case on the TV program “Sightings.”  In 1998 Regehr published a monograph “How to build a $125 million UFO Detector,” which is an analysis of the technical problems involved in satellite detection of UFOs. Regehr’s Iranian UFO paper, which won 1st prize in MUFON’s 2006 “Best Evidence” contest, combined newly published information (Pratt; Maccabee) with Regehr’s analysis to show that the 1976 event in Iran provides irrefutable evidence of the reality of UFOs.

Other research done by Regehr contributed to knowledge about the Roswell case.  Regehr’s Feb. 2000 MUFON UFO Journal article “Not Enough ‘Foil’,” shows that the 200-yd. diameter debris field described by Mac Brazel was far too large to have been caused by the impact of a Mogul research balloon.

Regehr played a key role in bringing to fruition research on the Roswell Ramey office photos carried out by Regehr, Morris, Leveoux, and Johnson.  Careful analysis of the photos, rescued from over half a century of obscurity, revealed the times of day the photos were made, that at least two photographers photographed the debris, that the debris pictured in the photos could not have been that of a Mogul balloon, and even that virtually all of the text of the teletype held by Gen. Ramey was readable. This research, and compelling evidence of just why “Bond” Johnson was able to “scoop” the other Dallas/Fort Worth news media are being compiled in Regehr’s latest book, What? Another Dang Roswell Book!

Regehr has been a guest on the television programs “Strange Universe” and “Sightings,” and on the Learning Channel, and a guest on the Art Bell radio program numerous times.  He was a speaker at the 2004 Las Vegas Crash/Retrieval conference, on the topic of the Ramey office photos; at the Roswell UFO Festival in 1999 and from 2006 through 2010; at the UFO Friendship Campout at Rachel, Nevada in 1997; at the International UFO Congress in Laughlin, Nevada in 2000; at HUFON (the Houston UFO Network) in 1994; and at MUFON Orange County, Calif. numerous times.  He won MUFON’s contest for the Best UFO Case for his work on the Iranian UFO Incident and spoke at the MUFON Symposium.  In 2009 Regehr was a featured speaker at the inaugural Galactic Gathering in Denver, CO.  He has published articles in the MUFON Journal and UFO Magazine, and he has presented several workshops at the MUFON International Symposia.

Regehr is the former State Director of MUFON, Utah, and resigned that post to fill the position of MUFON Director of Documentation where he revised and updated the MUFON Field Investigator’s Manual to bring it up to industry standards and enable electronic access and updates for all MUFON members.

Regehr lives in Rimrock, Arizona, where he is enjoying his retirement.  He is happily married and the father of 3 grown daughters.
