The Travis Walton UFO incident was an abduction of an American forestry worker by a UFO on November 5, 1975, while working in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests near Snowflake, Arizona. Walton reappeared after a five-day search. The Walton case received mainstream publicity and remains one of the best-known alien abduction stories. Walton wrote a book about his abduction in 1978 called The Walton Experience, which was adapted into the 1993 film Fire in the Sky.

Erica Lukes is a UFO researcher and podcaster. She is the former state director for the Utah chapter of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and a MUFON field investigator. She is, currently, the head of Unexplained Utah , an organization which is focused upon scientifically researching UAP – otherwise known as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, and team-leader on a research program called “Project Orange.” This project is specifically dedicated to studying sightings and clusters of orange/red orbs (which are also known as fireballs).

She has collected decades’ worth of case reports from this area, and particularly so with regards to mass sightings of UFOs, as well as mysterious mutilations of animals, and alien abductions.

Greg Bishop co-founded a magazine called The Excluded Middle, which was a journal of UFOs, conspiracy research, psychedelia and new science. Wake Up Down There!, a collection of articles from the magazine, was published in 2000. Greg’s second book was Project Beta, which documented a government campaign of disinformation. Weird California, a portrait of strange and eerie history and places in the Golden State, was released in 2006. From 2007 to 2011, Greg blogged for the UFO and paranormal site Ufomystic.
