The Founder of the Utah UFO Fest, Nathan Cowlishaw, will be traveling down to the 26th annual International UFO Congress in Fountain Hills, Arizona on February 15-19th, 2017 and will be helping the event with photography. We are enthusiastic for Spring and moving forward with plans for the 2nd annual Utah UFO Fest. We are still grass-roots and just starting off but we plan to have the fest the third weekend of June every year which is also Father’s Day Weekend. We figure since there’s camping involved, Fathers are always welcome to bring their sons camping at the event with a weekend of discussions surrounding ET and UFOs.
We are welcoming vendors at this year’s event but are requesting a suggested donation $50-100 dollar to help cover costs of the event. As usual, we are also keeping the event free to the public and would appreciate contributions from you as well!
Stay tuned for when Nate Cowlishaw returns from the International UFO Congress and reports back!
Nathan,
I have a suggestion which should give a large plug to your work @ a build-up towards the Cedar City UFO Fest. and an added all year plus.
Why not set-up a UFO landing and contact base. I have the specifications which are needed for this. Many who attempt this process gear it to how the establishers think it should be set-up. This is their problem. We need to set-up according to “the visitors” requirements.
For 21 years I worked at a UFO base which had monthly base-ings for over half that period of time. This base was down-graded back in the 1990s due to citizen’s negative attitude.
I would be willing to donate my time to work with you and other locals to set-up an open-welcome port. You could use this as a “come-on” towards your UFO Fest.
This would focus on “nuts & bolt” craft, not “spiritual types” that are common with those at ECETI Ranch in Washington State and Dr. Lynne Kitei of thephoenixlights.net
Waiting to here back from you.

Greetings Nathan,
Now that you have responded at least for the first time (and noted my contact with you on your WebSite), I can layout some of the details for basing a ship. These could lead to some questions you might have.
There is really no big deal to it and not much physical work-preparations. The biggest stumbling block comes from the community. Actually the community or locals are not the problem, but those who “run the bigger picture” (ThePowersThatBe/Elite). When anything really important begins to take place, outsiders come in and want to “call the shots.” This has been the situation for much longer than 80 years. You could say this has been the chief problem with any civilization over the Ages.
All we need is about 50 square feet of fairly flat-level land. This would have to be private and paid for, not banker held land. It could be city property. Ideally, it would be unincorporated land. I felt you out and contacted you because I hopefully correctly guest that you have been a local of the area for a while and have a good repore with the community. The City fathers of Cedar City would have to be on board with this project. If a ship should land the locals would have already had to have had agreed to this basing and would have to have in mind what their agenda—said locals—would want in such a meet-up. (My experience has shown me that Mormons are generally more open to this sort of thing than are other groups, if that makes any difference. ..due to how their religions was first established.)
This 50 foot area could be used in the daytime for other uses. A landing by a ship would most likely take place after dark.
The area would have to be able to be secured to a certain extent. Trees around the area would be good, but a lower area which is not seen from a distance would work or between two ridges. There is no need for secrecy to this, but we wouldn’t want a sudden crowd of unknowns flooding the area should “things” begin to take place.
Utah UFO Fest would promote this creation of a landing spot for a “nuts & bolts craft” as part of its usual promotions along side all of its other stuff as planned last year and future years of the Fest. This admission is all that is necessary. Surprising how word gets out and far afield! No need for chants and prayer meetings!
I could come up there and work with you and others in this project, and/or it could be promoted now and physically laid out shortly before the June date of the Fest or it might be a grand idea to finish it during the Fest as sort of “a participation done by all those who attend the Fest.” There is not really much to it. We need to _____… well, all you out there, why not come to the 2017 Utah UFO Fest and find out? You may want to contribute and help “build it and They will come.” ..We will also need a compass and a measuring tape. Like I stated above, the main thing is a general agreement with the locals is a must. The Sheriff should be in agreement and in charge and not afraid to take charge over any State or Feds who want to put the kibosh on such a project/goal. Humor works to an extent… but only so far when anything actually begins to takes place.
Sounds almost like the Phoenix Lights of 1997? I may have very likely helped bring on that Gathering. Unfortunately, it had the kibosh put on it!
