Utah UFO Fest, June 17th 2016 – Festival Highlights
The prolific Travis Walton, from Snowflake, Arizona will be joining us for the weekend of festivities on June 17th at Three Peaks Recreation Area, near Cedar City, Utah – where we will show an outdoor screening about his UFO Experience titled, The True Story of Travis Walton by Jennifer Stein!
“I looked at the vague but reassuring forms of the doctors around me. Abruptly my vision cleared. The sudden horror of what I saw rocked me as I realized I was definitely not in a hospital. I was looking square into the face of a horrible creature . . . with huge, luminous brown eyes the size of quarters! I looked frantically around me. There were three of them! Hysteria overcame me instantly.” — Travis Walton

Background Behind the Festival
The idea to create a UFO Festival in Utah has been simmering for about 3-4 years now, and we already rescheduled a first round. Two siblings (The Cowlishaw Brothers) decided it was time to create an event that would generate interest in the subject of Extraterrestrial Life on Earth and Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs).
The Cowlishaw Brothers created a non-profit organization called the Anomaly Conservatory that will be dedicated in-part to the research surrounding the study of Ufology. We will combine Sociology and Ufology and their relationship in our capitalist society. We will gauge how the general public feels about the idea that we are not alone in the universe. Should we say multiverse!? Perhaps these “beings” are not alien after all? Maybe they are inter-dimensional life forms traveling through vortexes into our reality! Anomaly Conservatory is here to shake static reality and the foundation of a status quo that keeps the general public in the dark about such topics. We want to reignite a passion in young people to start thinking about the Galaxy, the Universe, and help mankind start thinking about Interstellar Travel. We can achieve impossible feats if we wake up to the smallest possibilities.
About Anomaly Conservatory
Anomaly Conservatory was founded by Nathan and Joseph Cowlishaw in September of 2014, when we decided to organize the Utah UFO Festival. We will be thinking carefully about where we wish to take the organization in the future but it is our strongest desire that it be dedicated to the study of Ufology, and other curious phenomena. We want to research how these mysteries influence our local communities both on a micro and macro level. We have teamed up with the Utah Chapter of MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) – and will dedicate our resources to spreading information that helps our local carbon-based lifeforms realize and understand the UFO Phenomenon better.
